In a hard-fought battle at MetLife Stadium, the New York Giants defeated the San Francisco 49ers 17-6, securing a crucial win in Week 13 of the 2026 season. With playoff aspirations on the line, the Giants managed to hold off the 49ers, solidifying their position in the playoff race. Jaxson Dart led the Giants' offense with a steady performance, racking up 129 passing yards and throwing for one touchdown. Calvin Austin emerged as his top target, accumulating 41 receiving yards to help move the chains. Meanwhile, the San Francisco offense struggled to find rhythm, with Christian McCaffrey only managing 19 rushing yards, highlighting the challenges they faced throughout the game. Defensively, the Giants stepped up when it mattered most, with Tremaine Edmunds recording a crucial sack that shifted momentum in the second half. The 49ers' inability to establish a strong offensive presence was evident, as Jack Jones led San Francisco with three total tackles but struggled to contain the Giants' balanced attack.
