The New York Jets held off the Miami Dolphins in a thrilling Week 7 matchup, securing a 39-32 victory at home. With both teams fighting for playoff positioning, the stakes were high, but it was the Jets who emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive prowess. Cade Klubnik was the star of the night for New York, throwing for an impressive 430 yards and five touchdowns, leading his team to a crucial win. Adonai Mitchell also had a standout performance, racking up 183 receiving yards, proving to be a reliable target for Klubnik throughout the contest. Miami’s Bhayshul Tuten managed to keep things competitive on the ground with 63 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Jets’ aerial attack. Defensively, the Jets made their presence felt with VJ Payne leading the way with five total tackles. Miami's Joshua Uche contributed with two sacks, but the defensive pressure was not enough to disrupt Klubnik's rhythm. The turning point came late in the third quarter when Klubnik threw his fifth touchdown pass, extending the Jets' lead and putting the Dolphins in a tough position as they tried to rally back.
