In a tightly contested battle, the Pittsburgh Steelers narrowly defeated the New Orleans Saints 21-17 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard, but it was the Steelers who came out on top, solidifying their position in the standings. Pittsburgh’s offense was spearheaded by quarterback Haynes King, who threw for 223 yards, while tight end Brock Bowers made a significant impact with 118 receiving yards. The Steelers’ ability to move the ball through the air proved crucial, but it was the Saints' Travis Etienne Jr. who stole the show on the ground, racking up 151 rushing yards in a valiant effort. Defensively, the Steelers were formidable, with Talanoa Hufanga leading the way with five tackles. Cam Heyward made his presence felt with two sacks, while Nick Herbig's interception was a key moment that stifled a potential Saints scoring drive. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Steelers' defense held strong, allowing them to secure the victory despite a late surge from New Orleans.
