In a dominating performance, the Arizona Cardinals defeated the Seattle Seahawks 44-8 in Week 2 of the 2026 season, asserting their dominance early in the year. With this victory, the Cardinals are looking to establish themselves as serious contenders in the league, while the Seahawks are left searching for answers after a rough outing. Lamar Jackson was the star of the night for Arizona, throwing for 300 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his dual-threat capability. Meanwhile, Jaylen Warren added a powerful rushing presence with 102 yards on the ground, and Larry Fitzgerald was a reliable target, racking up 138 receiving yards. Together, they formed a formidable offensive trio that kept the Seahawks' defense on their heels throughout the game. Defensively, the Cardinals were equally impressive, with Nik Bonitto leading the charge, notching 1.5 sacks and applying consistent pressure on the Seattle quarterback. The turning point came in the second quarter when Arizona’s defense stifled a Seahawks drive, forcing a turnover on downs, which allowed them to extend their lead and control the game. With Paulson Adebo's nine tackles for Seattle, it was clear they fought hard, but they simply couldn't keep pace with Arizona's explosive offense.
