In a thrilling Week 16 matchup, the New Orleans Saints narrowly defeated the Arizona Cardinals with a final score of 45-42. The stakes were high as both teams vied for playoff positioning, making every moment of this game crucial. Joe Milton put on a spectacular show for the Cardinals, throwing for 383 yards and five touchdowns, showcasing his arm strength and precision. Meanwhile, Travis Etienne Jr. was the driving force behind the Saints' ground game, racking up 140 rushing yards and proving to be a key contributor in maintaining possession and controlling the tempo of the game. Defensively, the playmakers were outshined by the offensive fireworks, but the Saints' Chase Young made his mark with a crucial sack that helped shift momentum late in the game. The turning point came when the Saints' offense capitalized on a critical turnover, allowing them to reclaim the lead and ultimately secure the victory. Despite a strong performance from the Cardinals' defense, highlighted by Budda Baker's interception, it wasn't enough to stop the Saints from holding off the late-game surge.
