The Seattle Seahawks narrowly defeated the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 31-28 in a thrilling Week 12 showdown that had major playoff implications. Both teams entered the contest with high stakes, looking to secure their position in the postseason race. Leading the charge for Seattle was quarterback Sam Darnold, who delivered an impressive performance with 405 passing yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his elite playmaking ability. Running back Zach Charbonnet complemented the aerial attack with 89 rushing yards, while the 49ers' Mike Evans shined as a receiving threat, racking up 160 yards. Seattle's offensive prowess ultimately proved too much for San Francisco to handle. Defensively, the Seahawks were bolstered by Leonard Williams, who registered two crucial sacks, disrupting the 49ers' rhythm. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Seattle's defense stepped up to stifle a potential game-tying drive, allowing them to hold off San Francisco's efforts and secure the victory. Nick Martin led the 49ers with nine total tackles, but it wasn't enough to overcome Seattle's balanced attack.
