In a commanding performance, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers topped the Detroit Lions 77-17 in Week 11 of the 2026 season. This victory not only solidified the Buccaneers' position in the playoff race but also showcased their offensive prowess in a game that quickly turned one-sided. Leading the charge for Tampa Bay was Baker Mayfield, who threw for an astounding 648 yards and 11 touchdowns, carving up the Lions' defense with pinpoint accuracy. Ted Hurst III was his favorite target, racking up 188 receiving yards and finding the end zone multiple times. Despite the lopsided score, Jahmyr Gibbs managed to put up 92 rushing yards for Detroit, but the Lions struggled to keep pace with the explosive Buccaneers offense. Defensively, the Buccaneers also made their mark, with Josiah Trotter intercepting two passes, helping to stifle any hopes of a Lions comeback. The turning point came early in the second quarter when Mayfield connected for several quick touchdowns, leaving the Lions in a deep hole. As the game progressed, the Buccaneers' defense continued to pressure the Lions, making it nearly impossible for them to mount any significant offense.
