The Dolphins showcased their explosive offense while the Colts fought valiantly, but ultimately fell short in a game that had significant postseason implications. Malik Willis was the standout performer for Miami, throwing for 230 yards and two touchdowns, effectively leading his team’s potent aerial attack. De'Von Achane made a significant impact, racking up 160 receiving yards, proving to be a reliable target throughout the matchup. The Dolphins' offensive line provided ample protection, allowing Willis to exploit the Colts' secondary. Defensively, the Dolphins made crucial plays to halt the Colts' momentum, particularly with a timely sack from Jordyn Brooks. The pivotal moment came in the second half when Miami's defense forced a turnover, allowing the Dolphins to extend their lead and put the game out of reach. Chris Johnson led the charge on defense with four total tackles, playing a key role in maintaining pressure on the Colts’ offense.
