In a decisive Week 6 matchup, the New Orleans Saints topped the New York Giants 21-10, solidifying their position in the playoff race. The Saints showcased their offensive prowess, while the Giants struggled to keep pace, ultimately unable to mount a comeback. J.J. McCarthy was the standout performer for New Orleans, throwing for 268 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing accuracy and poise throughout the game. Bryce Lance was a key target, racking up 126 receiving yards and proving to be a reliable option in critical moments. Travis Etienne Jr. contributed on the ground with 52 rushing yards, helping to balance the Saints' offensive attack. Defensively, the Saints made pivotal plays to maintain their lead, highlighted by Decamerion Richardson’s interception that halted a potential Giants scoring drive. Although the Giants’ Brian Burns had a strong performance with four total tackles and two sacks, it was not enough to shift momentum. The game turned decisively in the Saints' favor late in the second quarter when McCarthy connected with Lance for a touchdown that put them ahead by two scores, a lead they would not relinquish.
