In a tightly contested Week 5 matchup, the Houston Texans narrowly defeated the Tennessee Titans 21-14. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard, but it was the Texans who came out on top, improving their standing in the division. C.J. Stroud led the Texans’ offense with an impressive performance, throwing for 256 yards and one touchdown. He found a reliable target in George Pickens, who racked up an outstanding 175 receiving yards, proving to be a game-changer for Houston's aerial attack. Meanwhile, Tony Pollard kept the Titans competitive with 85 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to secure a win. Defensively, the Texans made crucial plays that swung momentum in their favor, including a key interception from Kamari Lassiter. Calen Bullock also contributed with a sack that disrupted the Titans' rhythm. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Lassiter's interception halted a potential game-tying drive, allowing the Texans to hold on for the victory.
