In a commanding performance, the New Orleans Saints topped the Las Vegas Raiders 27-0 in Week 3 of the 2026 season. The victory solidifies the Saints' status as a formidable contender early in the year, while the Raiders will need to regroup after a disappointing outing. Saints quarterback J.J. McCarthy led the charge with an impressive 260 passing yards, connecting consistently with his targets. Bryce Lance was the standout receiver, racking up 121 yards and a touchdown, while Travis Etienne Jr. added balance to the offense with 81 rushing yards. The Saints' offensive cohesion proved too much for the Raiders' defense to handle. Defensively, Christen Miller was a game-changer, recording 2.5 sacks that disrupted the Raiders' rhythm throughout the match. The Saints' defense stifled any hopes of a comeback, holding Las Vegas scoreless and forcing them into unfavorable situations. The turning point came early in the second quarter when Miller's pressure led to a crucial turnover, setting the stage for the Saints to extend their lead and ultimately secure the shutout.
