In a high-octane showdown, the Indianapolis Colts defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 48-36 in Week 2 of the 2027 season. This victory was crucial for the Colts, solidifying their early-season momentum as they look to establish themselves as contenders in the AFC South. Leading the charge for Indianapolis was quarterback Jayden Daniels, who put on a dazzling display with 519 passing yards and five touchdown passes. His connection with receiver Deuce Alexander was particularly lethal, as Alexander racked up 152 receiving yards, contributing significantly to the Colts' offensive explosion. Meanwhile, Antwan Raymond was a standout for the Jaguars, amassing an impressive 299 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to secure a win. On the defensive side, the Colts made key plays to stifle the Jaguars' momentum. Nate Wiggins led the team with four total tackles, while Kelley Jones added an interception that shifted the tide in favor of Indianapolis. The turning point came in the second half when the Colts' defense tightened its grip, limiting Jacksonville's scoring opportunities and allowing their offense to capitalize on the momentum.
