The Indianapolis Colts delivered a commanding performance, defeating the Houston Texans 76-21 in Week 6 of the 2027 season. This blowout not only showcased Indianapolis' offensive firepower but also solidified their position as a top contender in the league, leaving the Texans searching for answers after a tough outing. Dak Prescott led the Texans with an impressive 391 passing yards and three touchdown passes, demonstrating his capability to move the ball through the air. However, the Texans' ground game struggled, with Ashton Jeanty managing only 28 rushing yards, a stark contrast to the Colts' explosive offense. On the other side, Jaylen Waddle shined brightly for Indianapolis, racking up an astonishing 250 receiving yards, making key catches that kept drives alive and the scoreboard ticking. Defensively, the Colts were relentless, with Kelley Jones leading the charge with five total tackles, two of which came alongside a remarkable three interceptions that halted any potential Texan momentum. Abdul Carter also made his presence felt, recording two sacks that further pressured Prescott throughout the game. The turning point came in the second quarter, when Jones’ interceptions shifted the tide, allowing the Colts to extend their lead and firmly take control of the matchup.
