In a thrilling Week 18 showdown, the Denver Broncos held off the Los Angeles Chargers with a final score of 35-27, capping off the regular season on a high note. With playoff implications hanging in the balance, both teams fought fiercely, but it was the Broncos who secured the victory in front of their home crowd. Bo Nix was the star of the game, throwing for a staggering 390 yards and three touchdown passes, showcasing his ability to dissect the Chargers’ defense. Courtland Sutton was his primary target, racking up 121 receiving yards and proving to be an essential weapon down the field. While RJ Harvey contributed on the ground with 49 rushing yards, it was Nix's aerial assault that ultimately made the difference. On the defensive side, the Broncos managed to put pressure on the Chargers' offense, with D.J. Jones recording a crucial sack that disrupted a key drive. The game’s turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Broncos' defense forced a turnover, allowing them to maintain their lead and seal the victory. Despite a strong effort from Chargers linebacker Cam Hart, who tallied nine total tackles, it was the Broncos' timely defensive plays that secured their win.
