In a pivotal Week 17 matchup, the Washington Commanders secured a decisive 38-20 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, solidifying their playoff aspirations as the regular season nears its conclusion. With both teams vying for a crucial win, Washington's performance proved too strong for Jacksonville, who faced a tough road ahead. On the offensive side, Rachaad White led the charge for the Commanders with a stellar 120 rushing yards, displaying explosive speed and agility throughout the game. Trevor Lawrence of the Jaguars put up solid numbers, throwing for 235 yards and one touchdown, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with Washington's dynamic offense. Antonio Williams also made a significant impact, racking up 90 receiving yards and contributing to the Commanders’ scoring effort. Defensively, the Jaguars struggled to contain Washington’s offensive onslaught, despite a strong performance from Antonio Johnson, who tallied seven total tackles. Travon Walker managed to apply pressure with 1.5 sacks, but the Jaguars' defense couldn't make enough stops at critical moments. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Washington scored back-to-back touchdowns, creating a gap that left Jacksonville playing catch-up for the rest of the game.
