The Baltimore Ravens secured a decisive 38-17 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2 of the 2027 season. With this win, the Ravens improve their record and establish themselves as early contenders in the league, while the Jaguars look to regroup after a tough outing at home. Lamar Jackson was the standout performer for Baltimore, throwing for 331 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense effectively. Trey Palmer also made his mark, racking up 118 receiving yards and proving to be a reliable target downfield. The Ravens' offense operated with precision, capitalizing on Jacksonville's defensive lapses throughout the game. Defensively, the Ravens were bolstered by Roquan Smith, who picked off a pass and disrupted Jacksonville's rhythm. The turning point came in the second quarter when Baltimore's defense held strong during a crucial drive, forcing the Jaguars to settle for a field goal instead of scoring a touchdown. This momentum shift allowed the Ravens to extend their lead and maintain control for the remainder of the game.
