In a dominant display, the Las Vegas Raiders topped the Kansas City Chiefs 44-0 in Week 3 of the 2027 season, showcasing their prowess on both sides of the ball. This lopsided victory solidifies the Raiders’ position as a contender in the league, while the Chiefs will need to regroup after a dismal performance. Fernando Mendoza led the charge for the Raiders with an impressive 318 passing yards and two touchdown passes, demonstrating his ability to command the field. Mike Washington Jr. contributed significantly on the ground, racking up 82 rushing yards, while Dont'e Thornton Jr. emerged as a key target, amassing 108 receiving yards. The Raiders' offensive explosion was a testament to their well-rounded attack. Defensively, the Raiders were just as impressive, with Quay Walker recording 1.5 sacks that disrupted the Chiefs' rhythm throughout the game. Although the Chiefs' Mansoor Delane tallied eight tackles, it wasn't enough to turn the tide. The turning point came early in the game when the Raiders’ defense forced a crucial turnover, setting the tone for a commanding performance that left Kansas City reeling.
