In a high-octane clash, the Tennessee Titans topped the Jacksonville Jaguars with a final score of 48-28, solidifying their position in the early season standings. The Titans showcased their dominance, particularly in the run game, to secure the victory in Week 4 of the 2027 season. Tennessee's offense was led by running back Nick Singleton, who rumbled for 115 yards on the ground, consistently finding gaps in the Jaguars' defense. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence, despite the loss, put forth a strong performance for Jacksonville, throwing for 284 yards and three touchdowns, with Brian Thomas Jr. emerging as his top target, amassing 123 receiving yards. The Titans' ability to balance their attack proved critical in maintaining pressure on the Jaguars. Defensively, the Titans were a force to be reckoned with, highlighted by Jeffery Simmons' four sacks, which disrupted Lawrence's rhythm throughout the game. Amani Hooker contributed with six tackles, while Anthony Hill Jr. sealed the game with a timely interception. The turning point came late in the third quarter when Simmons' relentless pressure forced a crucial turnover, shifting the momentum firmly in favor of the Titans.
