Both teams entered this matchup vying for playoff positioning, making this victory crucial for Dallas as they look to solidify their standing in the NFC. Brock Purdy had a standout performance for the 49ers, throwing for 200 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense effectively. However, it was Javonte Williams who provided the ground support for the Cowboys, rushing for 86 yards and keeping the chains moving. On the receiving end, Chimere Dike contributed significantly with 78 yards, helping Dallas maintain crucial drives throughout the game. Defensively, the Cowboys made key plays to stifle the 49ers' offense, with Quinnen Williams recording a sack that disrupted San Francisco's momentum. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Cowboys' defense held the 49ers to a crucial three-and-out, allowing Dallas to maintain their slim lead and ultimately secure the victory. Fred Warner led the 49ers' defense with nine total tackles, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Cowboys' determined stand.
