The Tampa Bay Buccaneers dominated the Carolina Panthers with a resounding 45-7 victory in Week 7 of the 2026 season. This win solidifies the Buccaneers' position as a contender in the league, while the Panthers are left searching for answers after a tough outing on their home field. Baker Mayfield led the offensive charge for Tampa Bay, throwing for 220 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his precision and poise throughout the game. Jalen McMillan was his top target, racking up 82 receiving yards, while Chuba Hubbard provided a bright spot for the Panthers with 101 rushing yards, despite the team's struggles. Defensively, the Buccaneers were relentless, with Josiah Trotter leading the way with four tackles, and Rueben Bain Jr. contributing with a key sack. However, it was Tykee Smith's two interceptions that marked the turning point of the game, stifling any momentum the Panthers hoped to build. The Buccaneers' defense effectively neutralized the Carolina offense, allowing their own playmakers to shine.
