In a decisive Week 5 showdown, the New York Giants toppled the Green Bay Packers with a commanding 31-7 victory. The win not only boosts the Giants' momentum but also solidifies their position in the playoff race as the 2028 season heats up. Leading the charge for the Giants was quarterback Jaxson Dart, who threw for 264 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to connect with his receivers under pressure. Complementing Dart's aerial assault, running back Cam Skattebo delivered a stellar performance on the ground, racking up 155 rushing yards and keeping the Packers' defense on its heels throughout the game. Defensively, the Giants made their presence felt with a key interception from Chamarri Conner, which shifted the game's momentum. While the Packers managed to apply pressure, highlighted by Graham Lafferty's 1.5 sacks, it was ultimately the Giants' ability to disrupt the Packers' rhythm that sealed the outcome. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Conner's pick set up another touchdown drive, effectively putting the game out of reach.
