In a tightly contested matchup, the Minnesota Vikings held off the Tennessee Titans, clinching a 17-11 victory in Week 6 of the 2028 season. The win keeps the Vikings competitive in the playoff race, while the Titans will need to regroup after a missed opportunity to gain ground in the standings. J.J. McCarthy led the Vikings' offense with two touchdown passes, showcasing his ability to find the end zone under pressure. On the ground, Jordan Mason contributed with 66 rushing yards, providing a solid complement to the passing game. The Titans' Cam Ward put up impressive numbers with 243 passing yards and found his favorite target, Romeo Doubs, who racked up 94 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to seal the deal. Defensively, the Vikings made critical plays that shifted the momentum of the game. Dallas Turner shined with seven total tackles, consistently making stops to thwart Tennessee's drives. The turning point came when Josh Metellus intercepted a pass late in the fourth quarter, sealing the victory for Minnesota and ensuring their defense was as impactful as their offense.
