In a decisive Week 7 showdown, the Seattle Seahawks topped the New York Jets with a final score of 36-22, solidifying their position in the playoff race. The Seahawks showcased their offensive prowess, while the Jets struggled to keep pace, unable to mount a comeback after falling behind early. Dante Moore led the charge for Seattle, throwing for 213 yards and three touchdowns, demonstrating both accuracy and poise in the pocket. His connection with Tutu Atwell was particularly lethal, as Atwell racked up 132 receiving yards, making several key catches that kept drives alive. Meanwhile, Kenneth Walker III dominated the ground game with 152 rushing yards, consistently breaking tackles and finding creases in the Jets' defense. Defensively, the Seahawks were effective in limiting the Jets' offensive opportunities. Brandon Cisse stood out with six total tackles, helping to stifle any momentum the Jets tried to build. The turning point came in the second quarter when Seattle's offense converted a critical fourth down, leading to another touchdown and creating a gap that the Jets could not close for the remainder of the game.
