In a dominant performance, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers topped the Denver Broncos 52-27 in Week 11 of the 2028 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Buccaneers showcased their offensive firepower, solidifying their position in the race for postseason glory. Baker Mayfield led the charge with a strong passing game, racking up 292 yards and orchestrating the offense effectively. Meanwhile, Bucky Irving made his mark on the ground, accumulating 133 rushing yards and finding the end zone, while Alec Pierce added to the aerial assault with 101 receiving yards. Although Bo Nix threw for four touchdowns for the Broncos, it wasn’t enough to keep pace with Tampa Bay’s explosive offense. Defensively, Barrett Carter stood out for the Buccaneers with five total tackles, contributing to a solid effort that limited the Broncos’ scoring opportunities. The game’s turning point came in the second quarter when the Buccaneers’ defense stifled a Denver drive, allowing Tampa Bay to extend their lead and control the tempo for the remainder of the game. Despite Nik Bonitto's two sacks for Denver, the Buccaneers' balanced attack proved too much to handle.
