In a thrilling Week 12 showdown, the New England Patriots narrowly defeated the New York Jets 27-24, maintaining their playoff hopes in a tightly contested AFC East battle. The stakes were high, with both teams fighting for playoff positioning as the season heads into its final stretch. Mac Jones led the Jets on offense, throwing for 281 yards and a touchdown, while Garrett Wilson was his go-to target, racking up 88 receiving yards. However, it was TreVeyon Henderson who shined for the Patriots, rushing for 105 yards and playing a crucial role in establishing their ground game. Defensively, Easton Mascarenas-Arnold stood out for New England, recording nine tackles, while Jaylen Watson’s interception proved pivotal, stalling a potential game-winning drive for the Jets. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Watson's pick set up the Patriots for a decisive touchdown, allowing them to hold off the Jets and secure the win.
