In a crucial Week 16 matchup, the Seattle Seahawks topped the Atlanta Falcons with a final score of 33-21, solidifying their playoff position as the season winds down. The win was vital for Seattle as they look to maintain momentum heading into the final week of the regular season. Kenneth Walker III was the standout for the Seahawks, rushing for an impressive 150 yards and finding the end zone, showcasing his ability to control the ground game. On the other side, Michael Penix Jr. put up a strong performance for the Falcons, throwing for 266 yards and three touchdowns, but it wasn't enough to secure a victory. Parker Washington also shined in the receiving department, racking up 110 yards, but ultimately, the Falcons fell short. Defensively, the Seahawks made their presence felt, with Azeez Ojulari recording three sacks that disrupted Atlanta's offensive rhythm throughout the game. The turning point came late in the third quarter when Ojulari's pressure led to a critical turnover on downs, allowing Seattle to extend their lead and seize control of the contest. Despite a valiant effort from the Falcons' defense, including Jarvis Brownlee Jr.'s six total tackles and Billy Bowman Jr.'s interception, they could not overcome the deficit against a strong Seahawks team.
