The Cincinnati Bengals emerged victorious against the Denver Broncos with a final score of 24-16 in a crucial Week 16 matchup. With playoff implications on the line, the Bengals solidified their position in the postseason race while the Broncos aimed to keep their hopes alive. Cincinnati's offense was led by quarterback Joe Burrow, who threw for 273 yards and connected with Tee Higgins for a standout performance, accumulating 115 receiving yards. Despite the best efforts of Denver's Bo Nix, who tossed two touchdown passes, the Bengals' offense proved too potent as they maintained control of the game. Defensively, the Bengals made key plays to secure the win, highlighted by Demetres Samuel Jr.'s interception that shifted momentum in the second half. Meanwhile, the Broncos’ Jonathon Cooper put pressure on Burrow with three sacks, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Bengals' offensive prowess. The turning point came late in the game when Cincinnati's defense held strong, forcing Denver to settle for field goals instead of touchdowns, ultimately sealing the win.
