In a tightly contested matchup, the Green Bay Packers narrowly defeated the Detroit Lions 30-23 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard to secure crucial victory, but it was the Packers who emerged victorious on the road. Jordan Love was instrumental in the win, throwing for 2 touchdowns and keeping the offense moving with precision. Jared Goff put up impressive numbers for the Lions, racking up 306 passing yards, while Amon-Ra St. Brown led the receiving corps with 93 yards. Josh Jacobs added a solid ground game for Green Bay, contributing 85 rushing yards and maintaining offensive balance. Defensively, the Packers made significant plays, led by Micah Parsons who recorded 1.5 sacks, putting pressure on Goff throughout the game. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Green Bay defense stopped a crucial drive, allowing the offense to run out the clock and seal the victory. Despite a strong performance from Jack Campbell and the Lions’ defense, they couldn’t contain the Packers when it mattered most.
