In a dominating performance, the New York Giants secured a decisive 42-17 victory over the Houston Texans in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With this win, the Giants continue to assert their playoff aspirations, while the Texans face growing concerns about their season trajectory. Giants quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. led the offensive charge with an impressive 249 passing yards, connecting effectively with his receivers. Running back Cam Skattebo showcased his talents with 99 rushing yards, while Malik Nabers was a standout in the receiving game, racking up 98 yards. Together, they formed a potent offensive trio that kept the Texans' defense on its heels throughout the game. The Giants' defense played a pivotal role in the outcome, highlighted by Abdul Carter's 1.5 sacks and Tremaine Edmunds' interception, which shifted momentum firmly in New York's favor. The turning point came early in the second half when Edmunds picked off a pass, leading to a quick touchdown that extended the Giants' lead to an insurmountable margin. Houston struggled to recover from that blow, ultimately sealing their fate in this lopsided matchup.
