The Baltimore Ravens kicked off the 2026 season with a commanding 38-17 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. With both teams looking to establish their presence early in the campaign, the Ravens made a statement with an impressive offensive performance that set the tone for the rest of the season. Lamar Jackson was the star of the show, throwing for 214 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his dual-threat ability. Derrick Henry was a reliable target, racking up 84 receiving yards, while Jonathan Taylor led the Colts' ground game with 100 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with Baltimore's offensive firepower. Defensively, the Ravens made crucial stops, highlighted by K'Von Wallace's interception that shifted momentum in their favor. The turning point came early in the second half when Baltimore's defense stifled a Colts drive, allowing the Ravens to extend their lead and ultimately seal the game. Jaylinn Hawkins led the defense with three total tackles, contributing to a strong overall performance that kept Indianapolis at bay.
