In a thrilling matchup, the New York Giants narrowly defeated the New Orleans Saints 24-21 in Week 6 of the 2026 season. With both teams vying for a crucial win, the Giants managed to hold off a late charge from the Saints to secure the victory at home. Quarterback Jaxson Dart led the Giants' offense with 227 passing yards, demonstrating poise under pressure. Tyler Shough of the Saints was also impressive, tossing two touchdown passes, but it was RJ Harvey’s steady rushing performance, totaling 48 yards, that helped keep the Giants' offense balanced throughout the game. Meanwhile, Oscar Delp shined for New Orleans, racking up an impressive 118 receiving yards. Defensively, the Giants made key plays to stifle the Saints' momentum, highlighted by Kayvon Thibodeaux's crucial interception. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Thibodeaux's pick thwarted a potential game-tying drive, allowing the Giants to run out the clock and secure the win. While the Saints' Jonas Sanker led the game in tackles with five, it was New York's timely defense that ultimately sealed their victory.
