In a commanding Week 3 matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the New England Patriots 52-21, solidifying their place as a formidable contender early in the 2026 season. With this victory, the Jaguars showcased their offensive prowess, leaving the Patriots struggling to keep pace. Trevor Lawrence delivered a standout performance, throwing for an impressive 402 yards and four touchdowns, effectively leading the Jaguars' high-octane offense. Complementing his efforts, Taysom Hill emerged as a dynamic receiving threat, racking up 174 yards, while Bhayshul Tuten added a solid 73 rushing yards, contributing to the team's balanced attack. Defensively, the Jaguars made their mark with an aggressive performance, highlighted by Lewis Cine's two interceptions that shifted momentum in crucial moments. Foyesade Oluokun anchored the defense with five tackles, while Robert Spillane managed to provide some resistance for the Patriots with a sack. However, it was the Jaguars' ability to capitalize on turnovers that proved pivotal, as their defensive plays consistently stifled New England's attempts to mount a comeback.
