In a decisive Week 3 matchup, the Washington Commanders toppled the Seattle Seahawks with a final score of 30-10, securing their second win of the season. The Commanders showcased their dominance at home, while the Seahawks struggled to find their rhythm on offense. Jayden Daniels led the way for Washington, throwing for one touchdown and orchestrating a balanced offensive attack. On the ground, Jacory Croskey-Merritt contributed significantly with 65 rushing yards, keeping the Seahawks' defense on its heels. Despite a solid performance from Seattle's Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who racked up 76 receiving yards, the Seahawks couldn't keep pace with the Commanders' efficient offensive execution. Defensively, the Commanders were formidable, with Trey Amos snagging an interception that shifted the momentum in their favor. The turning point came early in the second half when the Commanders capitalized on a Seattle turnover, turning it into a quick score that extended their lead. Seattle's defense, led by DeMarcus Lawrence's 1.5 sacks and Drake Thomas's seven tackles, was unable to mount a comeback as Washington maintained control throughout the game.
