The Atlanta Falcons topped the New Orleans Saints 13-10 in a nail-biter that had major implications for playoff positioning in Week 17 of the 2026 season. Both teams came into the matchup with high stakes, but it was the Falcons who ultimately emerged victorious in a tightly contested battle. Atlanta's offense was led by quarterback Michael Penix Jr., who threw for 219 yards, showcasing his ability to move the ball through the air. Running back Bijan Robinson added a crucial 80 rushing yards, while wide receiver Drake London was a reliable target, racking up 71 receiving yards. Their combined efforts kept the Falcons in scoring position and ultimately secured the victory. On the defensive side, the Falcons' Marshon Lattimore stood out with a game-high seven total tackles, playing a pivotal role in limiting the Saints' offensive opportunities. Germaine Pratt also made his mark with 1.5 sacks, applying constant pressure on the opposing quarterback. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Falcons' defense held strong, preventing the Saints from converting a critical drive that would have changed the outcome.
