In a tightly contested matchup, the Baltimore Ravens narrowly defeated the Cleveland Browns 23-17, solidifying their playoff positioning as the regular season approaches its conclusion. With both teams vying for momentum, this Week 16 showdown proved crucial in the race for the postseason. Lamar Jackson led the charge for Baltimore, throwing for 237 yards and showcasing his ability to navigate the field under pressure. Meanwhile, Shedeur Sanders of the Browns managed to connect for one touchdown pass, but his efforts fell short of overcoming the Ravens’ offensive firepower. Mark Andrews emerged as Jackson's favorite target, racking up 89 receiving yards and providing critical first downs throughout the game. Defensively, the Ravens made timely plays, with Travis Jones registering a key sack that helped shift the momentum in the second half. Cleveland's defense, anchored by Carson Schwesinger's seven tackles, kept the game competitive but couldn't overcome the Ravens' scoring drives when it mattered most. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter, when Baltimore's ability to maintain possession and convert crucial third downs ultimately sealed their victory.
