The Minnesota Vikings cruised to a decisive 41-6 victory over the New England Patriots in Week 14 of the 2026 season, solidifying their playoff aspirations. With the win, the Vikings showcased their dominance in both offense and defense, leaving the Patriots struggling to find their rhythm throughout the game. Kyler Murray led the way for Minnesota with a steady performance, throwing for a touchdown while managing the game effectively. However, it was Jordan Mason who stole the spotlight, racking up an impressive 163 rushing yards, consistently breaking through New England's defense. On the other side, Drake Maye had a strong showing for the Patriots, accumulating 343 passing yards, but the lack of touchdowns left the offense wanting. Defensively, the Vikings made a notable impact, with Blake Cashman snagging two interceptions that turned the tide of the game. The turning point came when Cashman intercepted a pass in the second quarter, leading to a quick Minnesota touchdown that extended their lead to 28-0. Meanwhile, Josh Metellus anchored the Vikings' defense with five total tackles, helping to stifle any momentum the Patriots hoped to build.
