The San Francisco 49ers topped the New York Giants 27-10 in a pivotal Week 13 matchup that solidified their playoff aspirations. With both teams vying for crucial positioning, the 49ers showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball, effectively shutting down the Giants' offensive efforts. Jaxson Dart led the Giants in passing, throwing for 238 yards and a touchdown, while Darius Slayton made an impact with 93 receiving yards. However, the day belonged to Kaelon Black, who carried the ball for 81 yards and played a significant role in the 49ers' ground attack, allowing San Francisco to control the tempo of the game. Defensively, the 49ers were bolstered by Deommodore Lenoir's interception, which marked a key turning point in the contest, halting a potential Giants scoring drive. Though D.J. Jones registered two sacks for New York, it was the 49ers' ability to limit big plays and maintain pressure that ultimately sealed their victory. The Giants struggled to find rhythm, which proved detrimental as San Francisco capitalized on their mistakes.
