The Minnesota Vikings emerged victorious over the Atlanta Falcons with a final score of 35-21, solidifying their playoff aspirations in Week 12 of the 2026 season. This crucial matchup featured two teams vying for momentum as they approach the postseason, but it was Minnesota who made the most of their opportunities on both sides of the ball. Kyler Murray led the Vikings' offense with a steady performance, throwing for 148 yards. Meanwhile, Michael Penix Jr. showcased his scoring ability for Atlanta, throwing two touchdown passes, but it was Bijan Robinson who stole the spotlight on the ground with a remarkable 211 rushing yards. Despite the Falcons' offensive efforts, they struggled to keep pace with Minnesota's scoring. Defensively, the Vikings made key plays that shifted the momentum of the game. Terrell Edmunds was a standout, recording two interceptions that halted Atlanta's drives and set up crucial scores for Minnesota. The turning point came in the second quarter when Edmunds picked off a pass, leading to a touchdown that gave the Vikings a commanding lead they would not relinquish.
