In a crucial Week 8 matchup, the Buffalo Bills topped the Baltimore Ravens with a final score of 27-16, solidifying their place in the playoff race. The Bills' victory was essential as they look to maintain momentum heading into the final stretch of the season, while the Ravens now face an uphill battle to regain their form. Josh Allen was the standout performer for Buffalo, throwing for three touchdowns and adding 86 rushing yards to his impressive stat line. His ability to make plays with both his arm and legs kept the Ravens' defense on its heels. Lamar Jackson led the Ravens with 176 passing yards but struggled to find the end zone, with Derrick Henry contributing 62 receiving yards but unable to change the game's outcome. Defensively, the Bills were bolstered by Maxwell Hairston's interception, which proved pivotal in stalling a Ravens drive. Meanwhile, Trenton Simpson's strong performance for Baltimore, highlighted by seven total tackles and two sacks, showcased his ability to disrupt plays. However, it was Buffalo's defensive resilience that held off the Ravens in the second half, marking a key turning point in the contest as they managed to maintain their lead and secure the victory.
