In a thrilling matchup to kick off the 2026 season, the Baltimore Ravens topped the Indianapolis Colts 30-23. Both teams were looking to make a statement early in the year, but it was the Ravens who seized the moment with a powerful performance. Lamar Jackson showcased his dual-threat ability, throwing for 211 yards and two touchdowns, while also leading the Ravens' offense with poise. Ja'Kobi Lane emerged as his go-to receiver, racking up 86 receiving yards that helped keep the chains moving. On the ground, Jonathan Taylor put up a valiant effort for the Colts, rushing for an impressive 185 yards, but it wasn't enough to secure the win. Defensively, the Colts were led by DeForest Buckner, who contributed three tackles and a sack, but Baltimore's defense played a pivotal role in the game's turning point. With the score tight late in the fourth quarter, the Ravens' defense tightened up, stifling the Colts' last drive and forcing a crucial turnover on downs. This defensive stand allowed Baltimore to secure the victory and start the season on a high note.
