In a decisive Week 17 showdown, the Las Vegas Raiders topped the Arizona Cardinals 38-10, solidifying their playoff positioning as the regular season comes to a close. With both teams vying for momentum heading into the postseason, the Raiders delivered a commanding performance to claim victory. Ty Simpson led the charge for the Raiders, throwing for 245 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing both precision and poise in the pocket. Brenen Thompson was his top target, racking up 100 receiving yards and proving to be a consistent threat throughout the game. Meanwhile, De'Von Achane tried to keep the Cardinals competitive with 67 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to counter the Raiders' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Raiders were relentless, with Ashtyn Davis tallying seven total tackles, Jordan Davis notching two sacks, and Alontae Taylor making a game-changing impact with two interceptions. The turning point came in the second quarter when Taylor's second pick set up a quick touchdown, expanding the Raiders' lead and forcing the Cardinals to play catch-up. With a balanced attack on both sides of the ball, the Raiders effectively stifled any hope of a Cardinal comeback.
