In a commanding performance, the New Orleans Saints defeated the Carolina Panthers 47-16 in Week 14 of the 2026 season, solidifying their playoff aspirations. The Saints showcased their offensive prowess, while the Panthers struggled to keep pace, resulting in a decisive victory for New Orleans. Leading the charge for the Saints was quarterback Caleb Williams, who threw for an impressive 472 yards and five touchdowns, demonstrating his elite passing ability. Wide receiver Jeff Caldwell made a significant impact with 229 receiving yards, providing a reliable target and scoring threat throughout the game. Despite the Panthers' Travis Etienne Jr. rushing for 66 yards, their offense was unable to find the end zone with the same frequency as New Orleans. The Saints' defense played a crucial role in the outcome, with Shemar Turner recording four total tackles and two sacks, pressuring the Panthers' offense and disrupting their rhythm. The turning point came in the second quarter when the Saints forced a turnover, allowing them to capitalize and extend their lead to an insurmountable margin. Nakobe Dean's interception for the Panthers was a bright spot, but it was not enough to shift the momentum back in their favor.
