Defensively, the Cowboys made key plays to swing the momentum in their favor. R Mason Thomas registered 1.5 sacks, disrupting Mendoza's rhythm, while Jadon Canady’s interception proved to be a critical turning point in the second half, stifling a potential scoring drive by the Jaguars.
