In a commanding performance, the New England Patriots topped the Jacksonville Jaguars 44-23 in Week 3 of the 2027 season. This victory solidifies the Patriots' strong start to the season, showcasing their explosive offensive capabilities against a struggling Jaguars team. Patriots quarterback Joe Burrow was the star of the night, throwing for an impressive 433 yards and five touchdowns, highlighting his ability to find receivers downfield. Jaylin Lane emerged as his primary target, racking up 193 receiving yards and contributing significantly to the offensive onslaught. Meanwhile, the Jaguars' ground game was stifled, with Fernando Mendoza managing just 48 rushing yards. Defensively, the Patriots made their presence felt, led by Ephesians Prysock, who recorded a sack that disrupted the Jaguars' rhythm. Despite a strong effort from Jacksonville's Jalen Ramsey, who intercepted Burrow twice, the Jaguars couldn’t capitalize on those turnovers. The turning point came in the second quarter when Burrow threw three touchdown passes, effectively sealing the game and leaving the Jaguars scrambling to catch up.
