In a dominating performance, the Carolina Panthers topped the Los Angeles Rams 26-7 in Week 12 of the 2028 season. With playoff implications on the line, Carolina’s victory solidifies their position in the standings, while the Rams struggle to find their footing as the season winds down. Leading the charge for the Panthers was quarterback Cam Ward, who showcased his prowess with 256 passing yards and three touchdown passes. Ja'Marr Chase was his favorite target, racking up an impressive 166 receiving yards, creating big plays that kept the Rams' defense on their heels. Meanwhile, the Rams’ offense struggled to find rhythm, with James Cook III managing only 46 rushing yards. Defensively, the Panthers dominated, with Kevin Winston Jr. not only leading the team with four total tackles but also snagging an interception. Oluwafemi Oladejo made his presence felt with two sacks, disrupting the Rams' offensive game plan. The turning point came in the second quarter when Winston's interception set up a touchdown drive that gave the Panthers a commanding lead, all but sealing the Rams' fate.
