The Washington Commanders dominated the New York Giants, securing a convincing 59-17 victory in Week 11 of the 2028 season. With this win, the Commanders solidified their position in the playoff race, showcasing both offensive firepower and defensive prowess against their division rivals. Quarterback Kamario Taylor put on a spectacular performance, throwing for a staggering 507 yards and eight touchdowns, leading the Commanders' high-octane offense. His main target, Dont'e Thornton Jr., was equally impressive, racking up 491 receiving yards and finding the end zone multiple times. Meanwhile, Javonte Williams of the Giants showcased his own talent with 99 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with Washington's explosive attack. Defensively, the Commanders were relentless, highlighted by Robert Spears-Jennings, who not only led the team with five tackles but also intercepted two passes, turning the tide in Washington's favor. Nick Herbig added to the pressure with two sacks, which disrupted the Giants' offensive rhythm throughout the game. The turning point came early in the second quarter when Taylor threw a quick touchdown after a turnover, setting the stage for a commanding lead that the Giants could never recover from.
