In a commanding display, the Minnesota Vikings topped the Houston Texans 44-28 in Week 10 of the 2028 season, solidifying their position in the playoff hunt. With both teams vying for crucial momentum, the Vikings delivered a powerful offensive performance that proved decisive. Quarterback Jack Hettsfield was the star for Minnesota, throwing for four touchdowns and leading the charge with pinpoint accuracy. Houston's Drake Maye put up impressive numbers with 260 passing yards, but the Texans struggled to find a rhythm on the ground, with J.D. Callaway managing just 18 rushing yards. Hadeon Druck Jr. was a bright spot for Houston, grabbing 82 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to counterbalance the Vikings' offensive onslaught. Defensively, Minnesota's ability to disrupt Houston's momentum was pivotal, with Emmanuel McNeil-Warren leading the team with four tackles. The Vikings' Rueben Bain Jr. recorded a sack that helped shift the game's momentum, creating a critical turnover at a key moment. With the Texans unable to capitalize on their drives, Minnesota's defense played a vital role in sealing the victory and maintaining control throughout the game.
