The Carolina Panthers secured a convincing 25-7 victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 3 of the 2028 season, showcasing their dominance on both sides of the ball. With this win, the Panthers improve their standing in the league, sending a strong message to their rivals as they aim for a playoff berth. Leading the charge for Carolina was quarterback Cam Ward, who threw for 199 yards and one touchdown, while also managing the game effectively. The ground game was equally impressive, with Jabari McDonald rushing for 104 yards, consistently breaking tackles and moving the chains. Wide receiver Carnell Tate contributed significantly as well, racking up 82 receiving yards to keep the Falcons' defense on their heels. On the defensive side, the Panthers were relentless, with Oluwafemi Oladejo recording an impressive 2.5 sacks that disrupted the Falcons' offensive rhythm. The turning point came late in the first half when Oladejo's pressure led to a crucial turnover, allowing Carolina to capitalize and extend their lead. Despite the Falcons' Josiah Trotter leading the game in tackles with 11, Atlanta struggled to contain the Panthers' offensive attack throughout the contest.
