In a high-scoring showdown, the Minnesota Vikings topped the Dallas Cowboys 42-32 in Week 3 of the 2028 season, solidifying their position as a formidable contender. The Vikings' explosive offense showcased their talent, while the Cowboys sought to bounce back from an earlier loss but fell short in a thrilling contest. Jack Hettsfield led the way for Minnesota, throwing for an impressive 386 yards and five touchdowns, demonstrating pinpoint accuracy and poise under pressure. Kairo Voss was his favorite target, racking up a staggering 212 receiving yards and finding the end zone multiple times. Although Mike Washington Jr. had a quieter day on the ground with just 41 rushing yards, the Vikings' aerial attack proved to be more than enough. Defensively, the Vikings made key plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Taron Johnson's two interceptions were crucial, stalling drives and giving Minnesota additional opportunities to score. The game-changing moment came in the second quarter when his second pick led to a touchdown, pushing the Vikings ahead and forcing the Cowboys to play catch-up for the remainder of the game.
