In a dominant display, the Denver Broncos defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 62-23 in Week 3 of the 2028 season. With this commanding victory, the Broncos solidify their position in the league, showcasing their offensive firepower and defensive prowess against a struggling Raiders squad. Leading the charge for Denver was quarterback Jared Lorenzen, who threw for an impressive 331 yards and six touchdowns, establishing himself as a formidable force in the game. Brenen Thompson was his favorite target, racking up a staggering 274 receiving yards, consistently finding ways to break free from defenders. Meanwhile, the Raiders struggled offensively, with Jadarian Price managing only 25 rushing yards, unable to establish any rhythm on the ground. Defensively, the Broncos were relentless, with Austin Booker recording 2.5 sacks and Riq Woolen contributing two interceptions, both of which shifted momentum decisively in Denver's favor. The turning point came early in the second quarter when Woolen's first interception set up Lorenzen’s third touchdown pass, pushing the Broncos' lead to 28-10. From that moment on, the Raiders were unable to recover, as the Broncos continued to pile on the points and secure a resounding victory.
